This Week in Miami: October 19-25
Your guide to Miami this October 19–25, from $11 sushi rolls and Havana Harry’s reopening to a Syrian supper series, Knaus Berry Farm, and World Pasta Day.

A Sunset Harbour original, Barceloneta has been bringing the flavors and energy of Spain to Miami Beach since 2011. The lively neighborhood spot helped put Sunset Harbour’s dining scene on the map, and more than a decade later, it still feels like exactly where you want to settle in for tapas, cocktails, and a table full of things to share.
The menu leans Spanish Mediterranean, mixing traditional preparations with a distinctly Miami sensibility. Start with classics like pan con tomate, patatas bravas, and creamy Ibérico ham croquetas before moving on to gambas al ajillo, grilled octopus, or the arroz negro, made with bomba rice, squid ink, prawns, and alioli. There’s also plenty coming off the grill, from Mediterranean branzino and lamb chops to skirt steak and a Kurobuta pork chop.
Drinks are very much part of the Barceloneta experience. The bar is known for its oversized Spanish-style gin and tonics, alongside sangria, vermouth, cocktails, and an exclusively Spanish wine selection.
Inside is buzzy and convivial, while La Terraza spills outdoors into Sunset Harbour, making it particularly good for people-watching over a long lunch, happy hour, or dinner with friends.

Miami is melting with flavor—and we’re not just talking about the heat.

If you know your way around Sunset Harbour, chances are, you know and love Barceloneta by now. And if not, let us put you on.

Sometimes you just want to eat. No reservations, no drawn-out dinner, no committing your entire afternoon to a meal—just something really good, preferably in and out before your next thing.

Just across the causeways from the Magic City, between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay, lies Miami Beach, a city with incontestably the most famous shores in America.
