The Best Happy Hour in Downtown Miami
Rosa Sky

Once the clock strikes 4 p.m., you may already start thinking about leaving work behind and embracing those happy hour vibes. Whether you’re craving a refreshing drink or some scrumptious noshes after a long day, head to Downtown Miami that has it all. From half-off oysters and tempting signature cocktails on a tropical patio to staggering city views and bubbly. Downtown has something for everyone, and the following spots all offer discounted libations and bites to satisfy your post-work cravings.

Bunbury Miami

The cozy and charming Argentinian wine bar in Downtown Miami is unparalleled at any given moment. That being said, if you’re looking for a mighty good happy hour to head to after work, this is your spot. Every Tuesday through Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m., Bunbury Miami brings out its happy hour menu of beers, cocktails, signature wine cocktails, and light bites to go with it all.

The array of light fair pairs perfectly with the libations. Think bit-sized arepitas con carne, mini shrimp balls, Bunbury sliders, and cheesy fries all priced under $15. The wine cocktails are our favorite thing here after a day’s work. Priced at $9, refreshing options include the Malbec Basil Julep, White Port Sour, and our usual go-to—a pitcher of the house-recipe Malbec Sangria

Bunbury is located at 55 NE 14th St, Miami, FL 33132. For more information, visit their official website.

Lost Boy Dry Goods

Somewhere between a rowdy London pub and a dusty Western saloon, Lost Boy Dry Goods leans all the way into its rebellious charm and pulls it off effortlessly. Tucked along Flagler, it’s the kind of place you wander into after work and somehow end up staying all night. Between the pool table, dart boards, and even a grand piano, there’s always something going on. Yet, it still manages to feel laid-back enough for an easy catch-up over drinks.

Happy hour here is a major reason why all the cool kids gather after work, with half-off cocktails, wells, beers, and wine that keep the crowd flowing in Monday to Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Behind the bar, expect no-nonsense classics alongside a few standout signatures. If you want to experience what all the hype is about, the Banana Painkiller is a solid pick — coconut cartel rum, Myers’ rum, banane du brésil, house coco cream, baking spices, pineapple, and a dash of lime… Oof. Don’t worry about the provisions either: this isn’t a drinks-only situation. The kitchen turns out seriously satisfying pan pizzas. Our move: the white pie, layered with creamy ricotta and a hit of lemon that keeps things zesty.

Lost Boy Dry Goods is located at 157 E Flagler St, Miami, FL 33131. For more information, visit their official website.

Mama Tried

Instagram

Mama Tried is a time-honored Downtown Miami institution. A nod to the 70s, this bar is where it’s happening come nighttime. Happy hour here runs daily from opening until 8 p.m., while the bar stays open until 5 a.m., with patrons dancing until the wee hours. True, if you walk in any time before midnight it might not be the most animated spot in town, but well worth the bomb happy hour deals.

Get your fair share of both signature and classic cocktails going for $7, $5 well drinks, beers ranging from $3-5, wines from $6-8, and a daily shot of whisky for $5. Honestly, this may be the best happy hour in town and a well-kept secret at that. The main focus here is drinks and tunes, so we recommend grabbing a bite beforehand.

Mama Tried is located at 207 NE 1st St, Miami, FL 33132. For more information, visit their official website

Rosa Sky Miami

Instagram

One of the top-rated bars in Miami, Rosa Sky is a place where 305ers and out-of-towners alike gather on the rooftop patio night in, night out, soaking up the stunning city skyline. The rooftop lounge offers happy hour Tuesdays through Saturdays from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 2 to 6 p.m. We most definitely recommend snatching a seat on the patio around sunset and submerging in the rays of the setting sun, cocktail in hand.

The happy hour menu is anything but brisk, featuring rose, wine, and sparkly specialty cocktails, plus liquor, all for $10 and under. There are also choices of beers for $5 and even light bites to go with it all, going for $10. Our ideal nightcap — the bar’s namesake cocktail, the Rosa Sky, crafted with Grey Goose Strawberry & Lemongrass Vodka, citrus, strawberry, and pink rose ice, paired with the spice-rubbed tuna poke bowl served with blood orange-yuzu leche de tigre and charred pineapple — perfection. And for $10… worth coming back for on the daily.

Rosa Sky Miami is located at 115 SW 8th St, 22nd Floor, Miami, FL 33130. For more information, visit their official website

If your ideal happy hour has a bit more of that Italian aperitivo feel, Serafina Miami is calling your name. Set inside Miami Worldcenter, this New York-born staple brings a blend of effortless elegance and lively energy. Between the airy dining room, striking bar, and palm-lined patio, it’s the kind of place you’ll swing by for “just one drink” after work and end up settling into for the evening.

Happy hour runs daily from 4 to 7 p.m., featuring $8 wines, $10 cocktails, and $12 small bites that make evening plans here a no-brainer. Expect a lineup of Italian-leaning sips like the Serafina Spritz, plus bites including bright salads, saucy meatballs, and mergherita flat breads. If you’re stopping in on a Thursday, you’re in luck — ladies’ night kicks in from 7 to 9 p.m. with complimentary mini martinis and truffle fries, making it one of the more fun midweek scenes downtown.
