KYU: What Makes This Asian-Inspired Wynwood Eatery So Popular?

KYU is a stellar favorite amongst Miami’s conscious-forward crowd. At this Asian-inspired joint, you’ll be getting all your cravings satisfied without the guilt. The establishment pledges to plant five trees for every tree cut down, so go ahead and feel free to order off the restaurant’s signature wood-fired menu. You’ll actually be doing the ecosystem a favor! Our favorite is the Thai Fried Rice Stone Pot added king crab is a must.

Other scrumdiddlyumptious must-tries include smoked crispy baby back ribs, Korean fried chicken with red chili butter, and roasted cauliflower loaded with goat cheese and shishito (every order of which goes towards a charity). Truth be told, KYU has something for everyone. For those coming in a group and wishing to try a little bit of everything, go for The KYU Experience. At $65 per person, you’ll be getting a smorgasbord of fresh and innovative flavors; 6 courses, 1 dessert.

The overall ambiance at KYU is wabi-sabi and in complete alignment with the quirkiness of the Wynwood area where it’s located. For al fresco enthusiasts, the team has implemented a lovely makeshift patio which is equally pleasant for people-watching.  Fun craft cocktails like No Way Rosé and Raging Geisha perfectly complement the experience. On a Monday evening you’ll catch just about any city dweller here and for any occasion imaginable, so don’t skip on the reservation.
