The South Florida food scene is getting back to normal, and some of our favorite restaurants have reopened their doors after lengthy closures.

“This is a cool little spot.” That’s the first thought that came to mind as we took a seat at South Pointe Tavern.

When it comes to fresh, affordable seafood on Miami Beach, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better value than The Lobster Shack.

When you look at Best Restaurant lists in Miami, you tend to see the usual neighborhoods like Wynwood and South Beach. But the local food scene is much bigger than those popular areas.

Miami’s restaurant scene can be fickle. What’s hot and new one day is old news the next, so it’s not surprising to see restaurants come and go quickly.

Restaurants are finally reopening again throughout Miami, which means the return of happy hours and other big specials.

Even though it just started, September has already been an exciting month for restaurant news. The biggest news: Dining rooms across Miami have been allowed to reopen at 50% capacity.
