Miami Diner
Take a trip down memory lane with a visit to the groovy Miami Diner! With two Miami locations, the diner offers a nostalgic retro setting that’s perfect for casual brunches and bigger celebrations. And the cherry on top — you can catch a live DJ set for weekend brunch! Expect to see everything you might envision in a ‘50s-’80s diner setting: colorful vinyl booths, checkered tiles, funky art decorating the walls, and of course, a jukebox.  The diner fare is typical comfort food, yet using quality ingredients. Plus, all made from scratch. Florida’s international influences did seep into the menu, as you can see with items such as the Miami Spice Chicken Kefte. Other menu categories include loaded omelets, fluffy waffles, burgers, subs, salads, and entrees. Pages on pages of comforting dishes with substantial options for the vegan population. No visit to this swanky neighborhood diner is complete without one of their signature milkshakes, like the “Munchies” — made with CBD oil-infused mint and chocolate-chip ice cream. It’s decadent, picture-worthy, and may or may not give you a sugar coma. But in the best diner traditions, oh so worth it.  Open daily  8:00 am-midnight; themiamidiner.com; Downtown location is located at 140 SE 1st Ave. Miami, FL 33131; 786-536-2400; South Beach location is located at 919 Alton Road Miami Beach, FL 33139; 786-536-2564
